This post is inspired by this wonderful YouTube video based on the poem How to be Alone by filmaker, Andrea Dorfman, and poet/singer/songwriter, Tanya Davis.
- Go to the library.
- Bake a cake.
- Wash your car.
- Paint a picture.
- Read a book that makes you "ugly cry."
- Plan a dream/slightly unobtainable vacation including flights, hotels, and a rental car.
- Find a new blog to read.
- Look up new ways to pamper yourself.
- Go to a coffee shop and people watch.
- Take a class on knitting. (Very useful for a zombie apocalypse.)
- Make a huge experimental dinner using only your favorite foods.
- Have a marathon watching only cheesy reality shows.
- Take an obscenely long nap.
- Go through a drive through and order way too much food.
- Organize your living space the way you want it.
- Fix something you broke, but didn't tell anyone about.
- Write a review on something you love.
- Create your bucket list.
- Make a scrapbook of things that inspire you.
- Go to a shooting range (Also, very useful for a zombie apocalypse.)
- LOVE BEING ALONE

The reason I took up blogging was to make new friends and share my stories. I would love to hear what you have to say.
